Together we celebrate 20 years of National Park De Alde Feanen

In 2026, National Park De Alde Feanen will exist exactly 20 years and we will celebrate this together! For two decades, De Alde Feanen has been a unique nature reserve where marshes, reed beds, shrublands, thickets and swamp forests come together.

An environment where you walk, bike and sail through space and tranquility, and where nature tells its own story. In 2026, we reflect on this story and look ahead. We celebrate 20 years of National Park De Alde Feanen, for 20 years of all of us.

Together with our hospitable entrepreneurs and It Fryske Gea, we are having an anniversary weekend on May 23 and 24 with all kinds of activities for young and old. Will you celebrate with us?
