Duo Donkey Tandem

The Duo Donkey Tandem consists of Dries Woudstra (guitar and vocals) and Dictus Hoogsteen (accordion and vocals). They perform a program of Frisian-language (and mostly homemade) listening songs that each have a story in them. Sometimes a historical story, then another person being sung about, an occasional fairy tale, then another song with humor…. In short: songs about love, life, happiness, sorrow, young and old, peasants, citizens and country people…. too many to mention.
