Try skûtsjesile for yourself! in De Alde Feanen National Park

From July 19 through August 9, 2026. Every Wednesday and Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Come sail aboard an authentic skûtsje. Hoist the sails, operate the centerboards, and stand at the helm

Hoist the sails yourself, stand at the helm, or operate the centerboards. Get some fresh air, sit back and relax in the cockpit, or actively help with the sailing. Once the boat is on course, there’s plenty of time to enjoy the stunning surroundings of De Alde Feanen National Park.

Price for adults: €17.50 per person; children 12 and under: €15.00 per person

You can make a reservation for this activity by calling the Earnewâld Tourist Office at 0511-539500. Registration closes at 4:00 p.m. on the day before the tour. The tour departs from the Otter Statue in Earnewâld, near the Earnewâld Tourist Office.

This activity is part of the summer activities organized in Earnewâld under the banner “Eltse snein wat by d’ein!”. Every Sunday afternoon from May through September, the middle class and local associations organize an activity that takes place in and around the center of Earnewâld.
