SKS Skûtsjesilen Earnewâld

Tuesday, July 21, 2026 the SKS fleet will call at Earnewâld for one of the races counting for the championship. The narrow waters around Earnewâld guarantee an exciting battle. Will the Earnewâldster skûtsje triumph on her home water? The race can be followed from the shore at the Lange Sleat, from one of the many canal boats and when the wind is favourable from the terrace at hotel Princenhof.

Skûtsjesilen is Friesland’s water sports event. Experience the battle up close and join one of Rondvaardij Princenhof’s party ships to the race. The start of the race is 2 p.m.

By tradition, the SKS Skûtsjesilen Championship is in the first two weeks of the northern construction holiday.
