SKS Skûtsjesilen Earnewâld
Tuesday, July 29, 2025, the SKS fleet calls at Earnewâld for one of the races counting for the championship. The narrow waters around Earnewâld guarantee an exciting battle. Will the Earnewâldster skûtsje triumph on her home water? The race can be easily followed from the shore at the Lange Sleat, from one of the many canal boats and, when the wind is favorable, from the terrace at Hotel Princenhof.
Skûtsjesilen is Friesland’s water sports event. Experience the battle up close and take one of the party ships from Rondvaardij Princenhof to the race. The start of the match is 2 p.m.

The 2025 SKS Championship Skûtsjesilen will be held – subject to approval by the Assembly of Members – from Saturday, July 26 to Friday, August 8. By tradition, the SKS Championship Skûtsjesilen will be held during the first two weeks of the northern construction holiday.
