Live music Small Committee
Small Committee consists of 5 musicians and a sound engineer. Founded in 2023 and previously played at THC Oostergoo from Grou which was disbanded. Our group is based in Leeuwarden and plays mainly in the Northern Netherlands. The repertoire consists of instrumental and vocal (Dutch, Frisian and English) songs. Our instruments are the accordion, guitar, cajón, batà and djembé. The style of music is broad but English and Irish ballads and folk music are our preference. We perform at anniversaries, festivals, party nights and other activities.
Small Committee consists of:
Bert Wijbenga Guitar, vocals, trekharmonica, Rein Mebius Trekharmonica, cajon, batà, vocals, Trudy de Jong trekharmonica, Betty Flameling trekharmonica, Folina Boonstra trekharmonica and Ineke Mebius sound.
This activity is part of the summer activities organized in Earnewâld under the banner “Eltse snein wat by d’ein!”. Every Sunday afternoon from May through September, the middle class and local associations organize an activity that takes place in and around the center of Earnewâld.
