Put on your boots: Boot Day in National Park De Alde Feanen
On Saturday, October 18, all national parks in the Netherlands are participating in Boot Day. A day to draw attention to the consequences of climate change and the important role of water in our nature. National Park De Alde Feanen is also organizing various activities.
In recent years we increasingly notice the effects of extreme weather: prolonged drought or, on the contrary, heavy showers. Clean and sufficient water is vital, also for nature in our national parks. That is why on Boot Day we put on our boots together.
