Prick sledding on summer ice

Ludic spectacle Priksleeën in summer in Earnewâld!

Ice club Lyts Bigjin is not letting the climate changes get it down and is organizing a real old Dutch pricksled sled competition in the heart of summer on Sunday afternoon, July 14, starting at 2 p.m.

The challenge is to move forward with the prick sled as fast as possible. In the middle of summer, the “ice” is mirror-smooth and unpredictable. How fast do you propel yourself forward with the sled.

Participation is free, one class up to age 12 and then age 12 and older.

In the first place, it is important to move forward with the prick sled as fast as possible, in addition, the winner will be the one, who can do this the fastest, and then becomes Champion Prick sledging 2024 !

Registration in advance for participation is not necessary, this can be done on the spot by registering with the organization .

This activity is part of the summer activities organized in Earnewâld under the banner “Eltse snein wat by d’ein!”. Every Sunday afternoon from May through September, the middle class and local associations organize an activity that takes place in and around the center of Earnewâld.
