Optional City Train
From Earnewâld, located in the National Park “De Alde Feanen” we take a beautiful boat trip to Leeuwarden. There will be sailing via: Siegersdiep – Langesloot – Kruiswaters – Prinses Margrietkanaal – Fonejachtbrug – Van Harinxmakanaal – Zwettehaven – Arrival Harmonie . Here you have the choice of exploring the city on your own or taking a tour on the City Train (additional cost).
After the tour, sail back to Earnewâld.
The tour includes. 2 x coffee/tea with Frisian orange cake, cup of soup and 2 sandwiches, 2 x hot snack and nuts on the table.

City Train Leeuwarden takes a scenic ride through historic downtown Leeuwarden. You will see the famous leaning tower the Oldehove. You will also pass by the beautiful canals flanked by many national monuments. Like the Waag building, for example. And, of course, we also ride over a mound. We will also take you past the birthplace of M. C. Escher and that of Mata Hari, the beautiful Chancellery and the former prison the Blokhuispoort. And much more.
